Dear all,
Hi, my name is Annika, I am a Masters Social Work student, studying at York University. As part of my Masters, I am undertaking research into why women delay seeking help for postnatal depression and how we can help women overcome the barriers that they face around seeking help.
I'm looking for women who meet ALL of the following criteria:
1.You have within the past 3 years been diagnosed with ‘postnatal depression’, AND this was the first time you had experienced postnatal depression. If you have suferred from postnatal depression on more than one occasion in the past 3 years, this is still ok.
2.You did not experience any mental health problems before the above pregnancy. Before having postnatal depression you did not suferr from mental health problems
2.You have not suffered from ‘post puerperal psychosis’
If this applies to you then please consider taking part. It involves completing an online questionnaire that takes around 20/30 mins to complete. Your answers will remain confidential and you will remain anonymous.
Please please consider taking part, your experiences are vital to this type of research.
