Spam Posts

I'd like to apologise to all members for the poor moderation and number of spam and offensive posts that have been left here over the last month or so.

Spam is an unfortunate side-effect of running a forum, but please be assured that it will not be tolerated here.  I am investigating ways of combatting this, but will check the forum more regularly until I can implement something better.

Please report spam posts - they will be removed.

Further update:

Due to repeated spamming of these forums, all new members have to be validated by the forum admin (that's me) before they can post.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but posting of offensive images is degrading and potentially illegal, and posting of links to online pharmacies is frankly outrageous on a forum such as this.

I'll be looking at registrant names and email addresses and filtering out the suspicious ones.  If you have registered and not received approval, please email admin at this site and you'll be added.

Really sorry to have to do this.  I will look into changing the forum engine to better filter spam posts.
